I am a proud Carenic College student. Am pursuing a Diploma in Full Cosmetology. This is one course that combines Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy skills. When I completed my KCSE exams, I knew I needed to get into a skills-based college to acquire the competencies that would enable me to earn a decent income. My learning experience with Carenic College as student in Full Cosmetology has been a rewarding one. When I joined the College as a beginner in February 2018, I never knew it was going to be what I am experiencing now. In just 4 months into my course, I can now do what I thought was only meant for magazines. I have received valuable skills in Facial make ups, hairstyling, and nail technology.

In addition to nurturing my professional skills in Hair Dressing and Beauty, my nine months at Carenic Professional Hair Dressing and Beauty College significantly informed my personal growth. I was an “outsider” in an unfamiliar territory of cosmetology but I can now say am proud to be a professional in the field.
