Carenic College offers three levels of training leading to Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma or Expert short courses.
Certificate in Hairdressing
The Certificate in Hairdressing qualification provides learners with basic and the technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients.
The Certificate qualification provides a career pathway to work as a hairdresser in a salon environment, a freelance session stylist or a technical advisor in product companies.
Course duration: 6 months
Diploma in Hairdressing
The Diploma in Hairdressing qualification provides learners with in-depth skills and more thorough study on specialized hairdressing services to clients.
The Diploma qualification takes slightly longer and provides a career pathway to work as a senior hairdresser in a salon environment, a freelance session stylist or a technical advisor in product companies.
Duration: 8 months
Advanced Diploma in Hairdressing
Carenic College provides opportunity to professionals already trained in related Hair course to advance their skills or refresh in specific single unit without undertaking the full certificate or diploma course.
Advanced Diploma or Expert courses are tailored to individual needs and normally take shorter time depending on the area one wants to advance or refresh. Common single units/skills areas include, Dreadlock setting, hair colouring, Bridal hair styling and weaving among others.
